Volunteering Instructions for Nov. 13th

Thanks for volunteering for World Usability Day. We are looking forward to an exciting day and are excited to be working with you!

The event is Thursday November 13 from 9:00 to 5:00 at the Museum of Science, Boston. Directions to the museum, both by car and public transportation, can be found on the museum web site at http://www.mos.org/visitor_info/maps_and_directions. There is parking garage on-site for your convenience.

When you arrive come to the registration table which will be in the central foyer. We will get you signed in, hand out name tags and give you your work assignments. Our goal is to rotate people across stations so that you will have an opportunity to see and be engaged in many things over the course of the day. If you would prefer to work on a single activity, please let me know so we can accommodate that.

To help guests of the museum distinguish between us and museum employees we are asking that you wear a white shirt and chinos (shades of tan would be best) on the day event. Please don't feel that you have to go and buy anything to meet this request - if you don't have these items on hand, please don't worry about it - just join us for a fun and exciting day.

If you have any questions about the event between now and the 14th please feel free to get back to me at this email address or to email our volunteer coordinator, Cay, at volunteer@upaboston.org.
